I didn’t realize how much coffee became a part of my life when I learned how to do it right. Well maybe that and its quite simple to make it, style it to be pretty, snap a photo and bam! instagram + 30 days of creativity.
I have several posts on it (doppio con panna, hazelnut latte, vanilla latte/cappuchino and other snippets about coffee prep). At my food, Diy, & Art blog Done it from scratch.
If the topic interests you, like food porn, or you want to see the me try out a less scholastic writing voice hop on over! =)

Hey Vicky! It’s been long na since I last saw you. Anyway, I’d love to see your coffee bar. It’s the next thing I will be saving up after I’ll get a new camera.
Will you be coming by Manila anytime soon?
just dont forget the skill of it too hehe.
Yeah, you do need a camera for work. Some of the current smart phones can take really good photos. Miko’s dad’s best selling piece was taken with a point and shoot lol. But having a good DSLR would look more reliable in your line of work
You dont need to have an expensive set up to enjoy coffee. It really goes back to the quality of the beans, and the grind. You can get a really good grinder (i have my eyes on a baratza vario, but its still a pipe dream) and use a percolator or inexpensive espresso machine and still get a good shot. We can talk more about whats locally available if youre really interested =)
I am in Manila since I do all of my writing stuff here, that is why I write at When In Manila.
I have my eyes on a good DSLR but a good smartphone will be good for social media sharing for my loyal readers to see my latest destinations.
I’ll show you around a café I know which uses expensive coffee machines and brews their stuff well. I can even arrange for you to have a casual talk with the owner. Search for “Kuppa” in Fort Bonifacio blog entries.
Yeah, i use iPhone with the unli internet postpaid service. Its not broadband, but if youre doing email, quick updates, or post drafts it works fine =) My recent photos were taken with it.
Lets meet up for coffee soon then? I just need to wait until my sched and apartment fixing settles down =)
Sure, no problem. Just email me your number so that I can contact you soon. I’m busy a bit these days but I’ll find time. My email is administrator@republicanegrense.com.
